You will have to go through security between the MLL and a C gate.

If you arrive from non-Schengen you will have to clear security to go to the MLL. You arrive outside security already so you don’t “exit” security. If you arrive from Schengen in B you don’t have to clear security to go to the MLL (but you will go through passport control).

Is that correct?
How are the lines for security at FRA? And are there trusted traveller lines to skip some of those lines? (Global Entry)

Dang, there are some int'l airports that have global entry, but I guess not FRA (after a quick google). Hopefully the lineups aren't too long as I won't have any priority lanes available (Booked into Y, only have *S)

1. Going to the FCT will probably be quicker.
2. The early morning flight (LH949) often arrives at AEUW (bus arrival at a secure gate in A/Z) which is convenient for A or Z gates. But if you want to go to the FCT/FCL it doesn’t make much difference. You may or may not be picked up by a limo to be taken to the terminal. If you do ask to be dropped at an A bus gate. In order to go to the FCL B you will have to clear transfer security (or walk through the tunnel and go through passport control twice). The FCL A is not recommended as it is in Schengen.
3. You will be driven to flights departing from Z (e.g. ORD flight) from the FCL B but I suggest you go to the FCT instead.

Trying to get daughter from A to Z in an hour
I have read a lot of the threads but many are very old. My daughter has an hour between flights and I am trying to map out the best route for her.
She is returning to the US from a visit with a friend. She is flying Stuggart to Frankfurt on LH 131 connecting to LH 444 to Atlanta.
She arrives in Gate A24 and Departs Z19. As I understand it she will have to go through immigration. Or is it general security, or both? An earlier post indicated there is an elevator up to Z near gates A24/A65 which doesn't make sense to me as these numerically are a long way apart.
Is this elevator the best/quickest route up to Z and if so, how would she go through immigration?
A simpler question might just be- what is the quickest route for her to get from A24 to Z19.
Another point is that she is flying LH Biz Class (award ticket) so does she have access to an expedited security/immigration line? How are they indicated?

I would simply tell her to follow the Z signs upon her arrival at FRA, and not more than that. There is a priority lane at immigration for C class, as well as a priority lane for C class in the Z terminal to access the US departures. She will not have to redo "general security".

"security" checks. I came through FRA this Saturday but I did
not have any additional questioning. There was a little kiosk at
the entrance of Z gates (just outside the Senator lounge) where
they were checking BP but no questioning...

You are over-doing/thinking this. She and her friend are adults right? - so they should be perfectly capable of making the transfer without someone to "map the best route for her". 1 hour is plenty of time to get from A to Z. Just tell your daughter to follow the signs.
Yes, of course they will have to pass immigration; they are leaving Schengen area - but it is not a big deal. 2-3 min and they will be through. No security check as I recall it.
Stop worrying - they will be fine!

In other words, OP, they're literally downstairs from one another. 1 hour is plenty

No problem - have done A34 to Z19 (also ATL) last week in 20 minutes (in C). There was no additional security check for LH444 (I was surprised about that)
