Any recent experience on LH in JFK?
When I arrived in JFK on March 27th I still got the HON escort through immigration. That was just a few days before the news about no more HON service broke on this forum.
Anyone experienced it in the meantime?

Do you have any experience what happens if you are booked on a LH operated flight?
If I happen to have to option between both of them in Y, which one should I prefer?
There is no FCT access in FRA and no apron pickup if the flight is operated by LO right?

I didn't even bother when looking at the menu. But due to the delay of my flight and meeting a fellow FTer in the MUC FCL when I came back from the gate I already had two very nice steaks and didn't need more food anyway. Let's see how I can survive SFO-FRA tomorrow without having to eat.

JFK great service
Yesterday I arrived with LH 400 (A380). There was a long line due to the arrival of an AF flight before us. But the LH PA guided me to the front of the line and I passed immigration in a few minutes. It still seems to work sometimes.

Big sigh... the best news in some time.
If now somebody tells me that the PA service actually still works for Swiss as well at Terminal 4 then I'll be a happy camper and looking forward to my upcoming flights to JFK which will with 99.9% probability be on LH or LX.

To my experience the PA at the arrival gate will tell you, there are no lines, and then disappear. When I arrived there last Sept. there were lines taking 45 min.
Some days ago I was told the same again, but insisted on an escort through immigration. It has saved me at least 40 min. So my recommandation is, not to accept the "there is no line" by the PA.

Hi,
about a year ago, I noticed some ppl boarding before any announcement was made on a SFO>MUC flight. I think they were HONs seated in C class.
I will be travelling ex SFO as a HON in First soon. Is there a way to ask about this at check-in? Has anyone else seen/done this?

How does that work then, do I have to show up at the gate at a certain time and will they know there, or do they pick me up at the First lounge or something?
