I'm not really sure which is better.
Without having tested it my gut feeling would tell me that the height limitation is not really troublesome as you dont move your feet up and down and it should be high enough that someone with big feet is not touching the top when lying on the back.

The width limitation is more irritating: According to one of the pictures above, the width at the very end is less than 20cm. Doubling that space should make a huge difference.

Book your emergency or bulk head row now :-)

Has anybody seen a photo of the pull out table? It looks so small when it's still in the stored position. Can it handle a laptop?

A laptop is no problem: https://picasaweb.google.com/1043151...66158353307186

I'm wondering if the had the V-configured seat at the ITB by purpose to get customer feedback. If they wanted to avoid critics, they could have had a mock up of the H configuration there.

From what I can see there's no divider you can raise between the seats

What a strange set up. Guess I'll be staying with LX and AC for my * longhauls.

It's a fantastic option for those who have a foot fetish.

Thanks oliver2002 for all the pictures and information.

From what I have seen, very likely the other airlines are now celebrating the launch of the new LH Biz class...

In Y LH will still be the number one choice due to terrific route network and flight times. However, for C travel other carriers will get my money/miles.

One must however bear in mind that the LH group has a number of airlines and apparently they have choosen to make LX the number one choice for many business travellers and LH is only the VW as oliver2002 said.

It is time to switch to AA when they get their 773ER. Their new C class is 10 times better than LH new one.

Will have to test it out in person, however judging by the photos the QR product is far superior in look/feel.

The foot area without any type of cover on the new LH business class is just weird.

Thanks Oliver for the report- this product looks to be about as successful as NEK.

Also- who are all these test customers? 1000's??? Really? And this was the end result? I would not be very happy right now if I was a LH product designer- only based on this thread the only person who likes the new product is Oliver.

Thanks also to Kraven for posting about the AB seat- I will have to test it out.

My employer sponsored the trip, so be sure my comments are not airline-driven
