Yes, yes it is.

I asked this on the customer support line and confirmed that certs can be used on either roundtrip or one-way itineraries. You can also use it on just one half of your roundtrip itinerary -- i.e. you can use it on only the inbound and don't have to use it on the outbound on the same PNR too.

Does the price go down close to the flight? For instance if JFK-LAX is now 3 certs in May, if there are seats the day of, will the number of cets potentially go down to only 1?

It's all conjecture at this point.

Has anyone seen any domestic MTM upgrades for 1 certificate or any transatlantic for 2 certs per segment?

I've been told that the pricing is dynamic which usually means that it's tied to the price of the ticket. Has anyone noticed a transition point from 2 to 3 for TATL or from 1 to 2 for domestic. Knowing that would be a proxy for not having the information before you buy the tickets.

Thanks in advance

For what it's worth, I found (and booked) a RT JFK-LHR trip in late February where each leg was 2 certs. (Plus tax on the LHR-JFK leg.) Effective price of the upgrade from Blue wound up being around $400 per cert. Also found a JFK-LAX flight in mid-April with a 1 cert. upgrade option, in which the effective price of the upgrade from Blue was a little higher, around $500.

Why is there any cost for the JFK-LAX upgrade? (I understand that premium cabin to LHR is subject to the UK obnoxious tax, but there shouldn’t be any additional
taxes on a domestic upgrade).

**or did you mean “effective value?”

Sorry. Yes, I meant the effective value of the MTM certificate. No out of pocket cost for the domestic upgrades.

Redeemed 2 MTM certificates today. Booked tickets for companion & myself, then I was able to use 1 MTM certificate per passenger to confirm Mint right after booking. Flight is in March 2024 BOS-SAN.

From what I've encountered, I've booked a few blue fares where the corresponding mint fare was $799 and under. Those flights required only 1 certificate. I've briefly had a flight booked where mint was $1200+. Those required at least 3. So as long as the mint fare is low, it's possible the required certificate amount will drop but no guarantees it'll happen.

It’s pretty aggravating system (and classic JetBlue IT) that you can’t determine the number of required certificates until after you book and ticket a flight.

I spent yesterday booking and cancelling itineraries, as everything I tried came up with 2 certificates required on domestic itineraries.

Anyone able to fix the "Ack. This flight isn’t eligible for a Move to Mint." error message? SFO-FLL and FLL-SFO show mint cabin, but error keeps popping up and customer service doesnt know what to do.

I hope a large number of immediately cancelled bookings might at least create an incentive for JetBlue to fix this and show us the number of certificates on the flight selection page...

The fare I booked BOS-SAN was $198 Blue fare, but Mint was $945. Only required 1 MTM certificate.
