I was able to use one move to mint cert for a JFK-LAX flight for next month about 40 minutes ago.

Is there any way to see the number of certs required before purchase?

If I buy a flight I will then be able to see the number of certs required, correct? And then I can always cancel for a refund within 24 hours if it requires more certs than I wanted to spend?

I just did 3 certs for JFK-EDI. YMMV, i guess.

Still no blade vouchers.

Yes, you値l be able to see the number of move to mint certificates required for a flight prior to purchase. In the app, you値l have to check a box prior to tapping continue/purchase (forgot what it was called) before using the certificates.

Not sure about cancelling the flight though.

I didn't see a consolidated thread on the subject (feel free to merge it if there is one); I figure it would be good to have a thread to talk about successes, challenges, best routes and times to apply the certificates, etc.

Move to mint

Frustrating experience trying to use certificates to upgrade to mint. Conflicting information from agents on when and how many certificates are required. Two said 1, but I was unable to upgrade. Another agent said 2 and when that didn稚 work, agent checked another agent who said 4. Ultimately booked mint with points, but found out the one seat suites require another perk to select, but can only be used for one person. The mint tickets were 37,000 points and my original extra space seats were 13,100 points each, so the upgrade certificates equate to 6000 each. Hope JetBlue reconsiders the certificate value. This was the first day of the mint upgrade certificates, so some confusion is understandable.

Thanks. I'm logged in, selected Blue fares and didn't see any checkboxes or Move to Mint option all the way to the final purchase screen. Tried both the website and app. Is this working for you? If I call will an agent be able to see this before purchase?

I can't get it to work. I've tried both the app and many different routes with Mint.

Same here, can't see anything in either the app or website - my guess would be that they are rolling out the new interface slowly, and that it'll show up for everyone over the next few days.

My Move to Mint certs all show expired despite requalifying for Mosaic 4. Anyone else in the same boat? or is it just a function of new year and they are not loaded yet?

Could you post screenshots? I just looked and cannot find this option. Just double-checked and I'm on the latest app. Additionally, I was just told by a phone rep that this is not possible and that they are not allowed to tell you certs required if the flight has not yet been booked, which seems like a silly policy.

She also told me that she has been fielding these calls all morning and has not seen less than 3 certs required for TATL. The most impressive part to me, however, is the fact that I cannot use these in one direction. If I'm making an award booking with an international trip, the price of a one-way ticket is often as much as the RT. It's ridiculous to use all of my certificates for one booking when I can get 2 full RTs out of Delta with Diamond. Best you could get out of B6 ever with Move to Mint was 3 segments, and that was assuming that you could take a direct flight, otherwise you'd be using them all up if originating in SFO, for example.

Once you go through the Move to Mint steps, you’ll see “moved to mint” under your flight details. Then you can go to change seats and choose your mint seat. Odd thing is that when you go through a dummy booking and check out the seat map, it doesn’t show as occupied. But when you follow through with the dummy booking and go to the choose seats screen before payment, it shows as occupied.

**EDIT: I should add that this was all done for flights that were already booked.

Data point: JFK - LAS flight on a Tuesday in late February, on a flight with no filled Mint seats. Cost to upgrade: 4 (!) Move to Mint certs p/p. Called and confirmed with an agent. They said they'd never seen it that high for a domestic flight, and that even international are usually only 2.

Agent confirmed that certificate pricing is dynamic and could change as flight gets closer.

Was able to confirm JFK-SEA (cheap award ticket) in Mint for an off-peak day in February with a single cert about an hour ago. Matched over from DL plat to Mosaic 3 and had the card, got an email this morning that my status was extended and was able to book the flight/apply the cert.

Pretty customer unfriendly to require a booking in order to see how many certs are required. Doesn't seem like even mosaic agents on the phone can see prior (or this is so new and they don't yet know how to see).
