On the Pre-registration for quarantine procedures page at the bottom where it gives you a status of vaccination certificate etc and whether completed or not I can no longer see the Passport or Web questionnaire options - is this the same for everyone?

Status is still blue so presume all is good regardless.

So I literally just went through.

Maybe 15 minutes total - the people in pink chattering about the app just want so see one of the vax screens in blue. Once one of them sees it, you get the pink chit.

then there’s a booth that makes sure you have the chit before the immigration booth.

then at the immigration booth you scan your immigration QR and your passport.

you claim any luggage, then before you go anywhere, visit one of the customs kiosks and you self serve with the last QR code and your passport but as far as I can tell, there’s nothing that comes out of the machine. You then go through the electronic gates and you’re done.

Just came through Haneda tonight. Had the vaxQr code and got the pink slip. .app froze as we went through immigration so had to use paper forms for immigration and customs. Three of us so separate immigration for each but one customs form. All in all quick process but I'm not sure that airport wifi was strong enough for the app.

Suggest screenshotting everything ahead of time on your mobile. They want to see it on your phone not on a piece of paper. It’s even recommended.

That way there’s no worry about Wi-Fi or any other technical hiccups.

Agree. There are 3 QR codes needed and we hadn't screen shot all three just the vax.

There was a lot of staff helping g at the airport and the other 2 forms are pretty short to fill out. We were able to keep our place in line to fill them out.

Also our original plans were fir two entries into Japan and then we changed to a single entry. We were able to delete the uneeded trip but when we tried to do electronic customs form it said we had the wrong entry date so maybe wasn't really deleted.

All good and easy. A little off topic but we found countries where you can not screen shot the visa..Australia has a security policy so it's a lot of new normal navigating.

I’m having some serious issues with the visit Japan webpage.

due to fly in 3.5 hours.

Thankfully, entered all of my information and got x2 QR codes at the start of the month (apparently the top one ‘quarantine’ QR code is no longer required and not displayed on the website??

only the second 2 can be obtained, for customs and passenger declaration.

Anyway, when trying to login on Google I keep getting an Error 404 for the website basically not existing - even with VPN turned off.

with VPN off, it allows me to log in via safari. But, all of my information seems to have disappeared from my account and I get a message reading

”Please review the input details and register them again”. When I do this - it doesn’t register them and asks me to do it all over again, in a repeating loop!

hopefully my current QR codes will be ok. Otherwise, I’m at a loss for what is going on here.

I have a further 2 trips to Japan in the next 30 days after this, which aren’t registered yet. So, lord knows how I’m going to be able to do that. Might need to make another account???

Update: it appears a password reset did the trick. I can now get in and it’s showing my registered trip details!

Not helping things was some signage in SYD in the JAL gate area espousing VeriFLY for travel to Japan.

I decided to ignore it, which of course was the right thing to do but it did cause me some consternation for a minute or three.

It's possible that this was meant for another airline, but still given the proximity to the JAL gate and the mention of Japan, not helpful.

Visit Japan Web now stating that QR code for quarantine purposes is not required. All that is needed is the blue screen showing Review completed.

QR codes still in place for Immigration and customs.

It also now clearly recommends screenshot to ease the process when you arrive

was very confusing at Narita 2 days ago - they still wanted the quarantine QR code. I showed them the other 2 and they said no… tried to explain it doesn’t generate anymore.

So I had to scan a QR code which took me to a questionnaire (which I’d already answered before)… to generate another QR code there on the spot. Then they let me through.

Ended up with 4 or 5 bits of paper too?? The Japanese love their forms !

Went through Haneda a few days ago. Only had to show the blue screen and was let through to join the immigration line with way too many other visitors from other flights and that took almost 45 minutes to an hour. The customs machines were spread out over the luggage carousels so no line ups and was rather quick.

So having vaccine review completed with QR code still work? Arrival mid February and completed the questionnaires in mid Dec receiving three QR codes.

Confusing what is being requested for those who already have the QR codes for vaccine fast track.

Mine doesn't generate Blue color. Always red. Even I was cleared before I'm December for another trip. Any idea?
