Visit Japan Web: Registration question
Using Chrome browser opened Visit Japan Web home page. Filled in Registration (basically entered full name, DoB, & passport #). Then came to "Registration Complete".
Only option is to Return Home (tried that, but illogical and did nothing). What happens next? When and where will I be able to input documents, such as CDC Cert and any other docs? Please advise! |

I've been having issues with the Visit Japan website not letting me filling in the Fast Track section. I've been able to register my passport information but it won't give me a page to register my vaccination card. It's hanging up on the Question WEB tab sending me to a blank page. So far I've got both Immigration and Customs QR codes, just waiting on the MOH.
Any Ideas? I'm not leaving until Nov 25 so it's not a major issue (yet) |

Just tried clearing the browser cache and it's still the same old thing. Passport is in the MOH page properly but the questionnaire still isn't available. I'll try again when it's 14 days out since I'm thinking that they're just trying to keep the backlog from My-SOS et al cascading any further by not letting anything less than 2 weeks out in. |
I was able to complete the passport entry part but get hung up on the questionnaire page. Due to an airline schedule change, I'm arriving NRT on 11/26, have to arrange own transport to HND and depart HND shortly after midnight 11/27, all on one ticket however. The questionnaire does not seem to contemplate people who are just transiting between airports and are not "quarantined" at a local hotel...it asks for hotel or location info and no option that I can see that allows for the transit between airport scenario. "Transit" may be the wrong word, since I'm obviously entering the country by having to leave NRT to go to HND but it seems I will need to get this done online prior to departure from the U.S. Curious if anyone has a similar situation and how they filled in the form. "Quarantine" portion of the form also seems odd to me anyways as I understand, Quarantine is not required if proof of vaccination, or 72 hour clear covid pre-entry test is provided prior to arrival - according to the arrivals policy of when I'm arriving in late November for U.S. citizens.

I would just google the address of Haneda and put that as your location and say you are staying 1 day when it asks later on. Its the honest way to do it and from what I understand they don't ask many questions. If they do just explain you logic since the website didn't offer a way to state you were connecting to HND. Then you get the needed QR codes.

Transit is the correct term for your situation. Since you wouldn't need to apply for admission if you were transiting within the same airport, what situation would you think that an admission for "transit" would apply to, if not your situation?

Once you finish registering your details, you should be able to see the "New registration" button on the bottom to register for a new trip to Japan, then once that's done, you can then enter immigrations/customs forms and also provide your passport photo, covid vaccine information, etc and obtain the QR codes. If you cannot see the "New registration" button. Log out then re-login, or maybe even close the browser window and re-open.

I filled it out last night and everything was approved, and I don’t leave for another five weeks.

We entered data for two trips 3 wks apart ..entering once from the US on Dec 27th and once from Austalia on Jan 13th. The trips registered separately but the questionnaire doesn't store flight numbers or seats independently and it displays the first outbound for both trips. . Has anyone else experienced this?

Just did this for our December 20th arrival and everything was approved within 1 hour and all QR codes appeared.
Also I had signed up via MY SOS app prior to the November 1st announcement of the website and that has been approved within a week as well. Very straight forward and efficient process.. anyone have questions let me know and I’ll try to guide you. |
Just checked the Fast Track again and it shows my Passport as Registered.
Questionnaire WEB is showing Please Register Both are in red on the Quarantine procedures (Fast Track) That was the same as Immigration and Customs before my Passport was approved and now I've got QR codes for those. |
