My original vaccine certificate got destroyed. I have a high quality copy that clearly shows the two primary doses and the 3rd booster. Does anyone have any expereince trying to enter with a high quality black and white copy? TIA!

What happened if we submitted through either MySOS app or Japan Web, but then our flight got cancelled, got rebooked on a different day (a day later). Do we need to resubmit?

Data point. Today is Nov 3. No past use of MySOS. Arriving KIX on 7NOV and triple vaxed. Created account and started uploading documents at 630p New York time (730am Friday - Japan time).

Created account on Visit Japan Fast Track and walked through the various questions. Took about 10 mins. Fairly involved questions for a visa-free country. Figuring out how to get the form to accept my hotel address took a few tries. Passport upload verification failed on first attempt (used a ultra high resolution scan on my passport in PDF format). Took about 10 mins to fail. On second attempt I just took a picture with my iphone and it passed "Scanning" in about 5 mins.

Vaccine verification took about 1 hour to get email confirmation of approval and Verified QR code.

Also, for iPhone users, goto the login page of the Visit Japan Web and then click in your browser to "Add to Home Screen". It will create a web app on your home screen and the mobile formatted screen will look just like a native app. Take screenshots of the QR codes for offline use.

you don't have to show your certificate to board or to enter, just submit the high quality black and white copy to Visit Japan Web. Also, they will accept QR codes if you have one, for example CVS gave me a QR code that covered both my J&J shot and booster by logging in to their website.

Not sure about other states, but yes to this - for us in CA, you can register and all doses and dates administered are recorded as part of your Smart Health Card (personal digital covid 19 vaccine record)

Funny thing is, I got my first shot 3/2021 and for some reason CA was never able to find it, my QR comes directly from CVS.

FYI - At least in New York State you can get a new CDC card filled out completely if you just go back to one of the places where you got a shot... FWIW I've never had anyone in Japan ever ask to see a physical card -- just a digital image...

Applied on Nov 1 on VJW. Entered all of the information and it was 'Red' and "Being Reviewed" until this morning exactly 2 weeks before we land in Japan. They say they prioritize trips in the next 2 weeks and they weren't kidding :) Very efficient process. Now have a QR code for fast-track quarantine, immigrations and customs. Will take screen shots of those and print out a hard copy as well. Over-preparing, but I am excited and ready to go back to Japan!!

Thanks for the info on the card copy. The first two were administered at a US National Guard mass innoculation site, with Army Ranger Medics actually giving the shots. It was quite a scene. The boosters were at Walgreens and I'll reach out to them.

I've been having issues with the Visit Japan website not letting me filling in the Fast Track section. I've been able to register my passport information but it won't give me a page to register my vaccination card. It's hanging up on the Question WEB tab sending me to a blank page. So far I've got both Immigration and Customs QR codes, just waiting on the MOH.

Any Ideas? I'm not leaving until Nov 25 so it's not a major issue (yet)

Question...once everything is done on the japan web page, can you show screenshots of the qr codes at the airport, assuming you do not have internet access on your phone to pull up the webpages there at the airport? Or is there free airport wifi in that area if needed? Been so long I forget. But, can you just get completed QR codes and use screenshots of them?
