Doesn't the Creation one give exactly the same points as the Barclaycard one did?

Not my experience! Been with Creation now for several years via my Marriott Rewards card which I use mainly for Marriott spend. It keeps good track of the double points. So far Creation has kept a similarly accurate tally of my IHG spending, and like others I've now received my second tranche of 20,000 signup points...

I've been fine as well. It seems with Creation you either have no problems or loads of them - nothing in between.

Believe me I've tried to find errors and can't but I've seen colleagues statements where nothing matches and their cards are randomly declined etc for no reason.

Well, I'm relieved for you to hear that you're not encountering the same problems as you did at Barclays, I did fear for Creations solvency once I heard they were taking over the IHG card and aware of your fearsome reputation with Barclays!

That rather depends on how you use the card - but that's more a discussion for the Manufactured Spend section.

Haha a productive discussion on that MS thread is likened to winning the lottery.

Long may whatever it is you're doing continue to work for you though ^

Extreme MSing worries me a bit. Having managed a casino I've seen anti money laundering teams at work and it's not pretty. I guess I'm a bit of a woos when it comes to things like that.

Cannot read emails from Creation

I have a bizarre issue. So far everything has worked fine with my recent Creation card application and I've made a couple of small purchases on it.

Creation has sent me regular useful emails about my account status and my first statement.

Now here's the odd issue: I cannot 'see' the content of those emails in my Mail client on my Mac! I see the signature at the bottom only. My registered email address is a Gmail address and I use the Mail client on my Mac to grab emails from Gmail.

In order to see the emails properly, I have to use a Web browser and log in to my Gmail.

I haven't had a chance to troubleshoot this properly yet, but was wondering whether anyone else has had this issue?

If your only problem with creation is viewing their emails, you are doing very well!
Have you tried the settings in the mail client, it sounds like there is something that is preventing you seeing them.

Earlier in the year when Barclaycard announced the end of the IHG tie in I made a complaint which resulted in compensation towards the hotel night I wouldn't now receive and a portion of the £99 annual fee. The agreement was that the remainder of the fee (circa £66) would be refunded to me by May. I have screenshots of this conversation. As there has been no sign of it, and I wish to close the account, I contacted Barclaycard 3 weeks ago and made a complaint. After 2 weeks and no reply I made another and they have responded saying they have 8 weeks to look into the matter.

Has anyone else who was promised the pro rata fee refund received it yet? I think 8 weeks to look into it is outrageous when I've provided proof of what was agreed. On the other hand I may just let it go the full duration and escalate to FOS as soon as they miss the deadline.
