What a wonderfully snarky promo, a real tweak of Hiltons nose...

I just signed up. 724,803 HH Points. I just used 330,000 in November in Key West. Great promo. Any thoughts on what the winning number will be?

I'd guess way over 10 million.

Too bad for me that I just redeemed 200,000+ for a trip to Hawaii. I have a measley 23,000 left. They did not ask me for verifcation.

I only had 3 PC stays last year but got bumped up to the next level due to all the redemptions of MyCokeRewards.

Maybe I'm out of my tree, but I just don't see more than 20,000 people qualifying.
I should rephrase. I didn't think I'd have any chance until I read this thread. You're right, 20,000 is a lot of people. Still, I won't get my hopes up and will be pleasantly surprised if I get an extra 8K PC points out of it. Managing expectations

You just have to love this. Hilton screws with its best customers and PC figures out how to gain leverage from it.

My HH balance is over 93,000. i just redeemed 250,000 prior to the devaluation. I hope my remaining balance is enough for the top 20,000. I was asked to provide my account statement and did so via the upload.

Great Promotion

In for the 20,000 contest with my 500,000 + HH points. Glad something good has come out of the devaluation. Priority Club gets a thumb up in my book. ^

Any idea how they will account for HH points taken out but not used? I have a pending stay with 60k taken out for a stay next week. Technically I have not used them yet but they do not show up in my total balance.

thanks OP.
I signed up today with HHonor online, then submitted my PC# along with the HHonor# and got the 1k point ^

I entered 0 points, 0 nights with Hilton and it worked.

They won't count, unless you cancel your stay to recredit the points in your HH account. See here in the FAQ:

What if I've been asked to submit additional verification?
In order to be eligible to receive the 20% point value or the 2 million point Luckiest Loser prize, we must verify your balance and need a current copy of your online Hilton HHonors account activity showing your available HHonors Rewards Points.

Thanks, My sad Hilton points won't get me anywhere near the top 20K% but a free 1,000 priority is a good thing
