geez, hats off to PC for thinking up something like this.

couldn't believe they were really giving out points for this, if it had been April 1 when I first saw this post, I probably wouldn't even have bothered clicking the link...

My wife has over 1M HH points, but I'm guessing that there are plenty of others that do, as well. That's probably not enough to win.

But she's prepared to let someone from ICH "break into" her HH acct if they ask.

They're giving it out to 20k people, so I'd certainly give it a shot. I've been quite happy with the promotions from IHG.

Question Some problem

I currently have 80,000+ points in my Hhonors account, but the problem is the account summary I'm supposed to submit shows only the current 7,000+ base point I have for this year so far; it doesn't show the 80,000+ points accumulated in my account. Will they think I'm cheating?

The account summary page shows total points in your account:

Heads up if your going to the 2 million points

I used this as a way to attract a guest to the property I work at (a Crowne Plaza resort) because he usually stays at a nearby Hilton property about half the time he is in town. Like many people he is more than a little upset with the devaluation.
Anyways, he uploaded a screenshot with a 7,000,000 point balance. Now I know why he is so upset . Good news for PC though, who is now getting "90%" of his "$100k" corporate travel budget ^. Probably worth noting that after I talked to him for a while, there is about to be 1 more RA member in the very near future.

What's everyone's over/under guess on the cut for the highest 20,000 entries' HH miles?

20,000 is a lot-I'll go with 82,347.

Why?! There comes a point where devaluation simply doesn't matter anymore, and I'd say 7m points is it. So he only has enough left for 140 nights in a Cat 7 now .....

My guess too unless they start a big newspaper campaign for this one. Hyatt didn't seem to get too many entrants for its massive giveaway last year despite massive global advertising.

This is the bestest, snarkiest, cleverest promotion ever.

I 'heart' PC's marketing department.
