Good move. If you can I would also upgarde your hard disc to a SSD. Costs around £120 for a 256GB now and you can just clone all your software across so no need to mess around with settings and passwords.
It makes so much difference. My Windows 7 used to take around a 1min30 seconds to boot and stop loading programs in the back ground. Now it takes 20 seconds. Excel would take 10 seconds to open up after double click now it takes 1-2 secs. ^^

Ditto! In both respects. :D I am also now using the 12.5' Dell Latitude 6230, and am quite happy with it. This little one is way more useful than the earlier big bulky one. And way better to travel with. Like a wise man once said, it isn't all about size, it is also what you do with it. Giggity. :p ;) But man, Win 7 sucks in terms of admin rights a user has... they shut down any all nearly all settings a normal user can change :td: |

Just discovered this forum today. I + 3 will be travelling to UK in Mid September for 2 weeks. I have been shopping online for tickets / hotels etc. First trip to UK and am wondering if this is the best way, or a Travel Agent? All the sites seem to have pretty much the same prices, Is there any way to get special deals ? And what would be the best airlines to travel on in this sector? TIA |
