sucks....i have a at&t contract but would be happy to switch over to t-mobile for a plan like that....

I also checked the cost for the connection I have (a contract SIM from SFR in France for years, but I never knew the pricing until now). For €37 a month all-in, it includes some concoction of voice/text, 250 mb data in Europe and unlimited wifi in France. I'm pretty sure I've never come close to using up any of the allowances.

that sounds like an ok deal....i'm actually looking for something similar in belgium & the netherlands for my trip next month....need it for my iphone....

That said, Matrix do seem to be an acceptable option for occassional usage.

this is the only plan that i like....nothing else is really any good....

Have any of you used Clay Telecom? (Similar to Matrix, but better priced IIRC.) I have been using them for the last couple of years for a US SIM, and it seems okay. Not earth shatteringly good, but quite reasonable....

I pay USD 24 rental per month for my US SIM. This includes 300 free anytime minutes. Incoming and Outgoing is US$0.15 pm; callback to India is US$0.28 pm.

They also have an unlimited data package for INR 2999 pm I think. (Although I am not using that at the mo.)

Hmmm, I thought Matrix was more expensive. Or so I was told by our corp TA! Are calling rates exactly the same?

I'm back in PVD from August to December, and I'll surely be coming down to New Jersey (through EWR) at least a few times during that period...

It all depends on when UA decides to have a fare sale...

Is this e-mail only - or can you browse the internet as well?
