I am flying IB express next month MAD - MAN in C so wonder what I will get? By the looks of some of the meals it does vary. Some look very good but other like this one.. Well I think that I would have just eaten the bread!
My wife usually order the fruit meal which is good in her opinion. She usually just eats I the lounge and View the fruit as a snack.
I'm in mainline IB LHR - MAD so it will be a good comparison.

Great, so that means my Iberia Express flight from MAD to TFN leaving at 11h35 won't even offer lunch, but some silly brunch thing. Ridiculous. Now, if they offered loads of imaginative tapas that would be better than any main meal!

I agree with you on the tapas! It would be nice if they tried to offer something even slightly imaginative.

Does not look as substantial as BA's English breakfast, does it Stu1985? I find IB's catering superior to BA's, but their breakfast is underwhelming. Cava is nice though

I had about 3 or 4 mini packs of nuts after that - they were proactively served with refills by the purser.

My LHR - MAD mainline Iberia flight which departed at 18:10 served either a filet steak served with some vegetables in a tomato sauce or pumpkin pasta. This was served with a small salad and some nice cheese. For dessert it was a toffee pudding which I skipped as I had it before and it is far to sweet for me.
My wife and I had the steak which was very good. It was a good medium overdone for me but at 36,000 feet I though it was very good better than my recent BA club world and would have no problem having it again.
I like IB's short haul service in that they remove your meal and then offer you some coffee and a drink after so that you can relax without looking at what you have or haven't eaten.
Now if they had some nicer desserts I would be really happy on the whole I find Spanish dessert very sweet and a little artificial

I do not know what's offered in J on either carrier.
