Same thing offered VGO-AGP during the last week of August. CRX operated by Air Nostrum.

Inbound was from SVQ and was catered up-line. Must have been last minute op-up on prior flight or this one because there was only 1 tray left for the 3 of us in the cabin. Those that didn't get the tray were offered free buy on board from the back.

HAM - MAD, mainline afternoon flight

Veal meal which tasted better than it initally looked.
Top up of Cava was possible for a change although was only served barely chilled.

Fellow passengers already started to ask for drinks, as crew nowhere to be seen and really took their time of 1:20 h after departure until they started the service.
Most of the time, 3 of the 4 cabin members were hiding behind the curtain for gossip (or so it seems), frequently joined by flight deck crew...

"Food" on evening flight AirNostrum MAD - PNA.

The ice was rock hard so most people struggled to "hand-defrost" it on time during the short 35 min flight
No tapas plate, but normal drink run with bag of nuts was done (Cava nicely chilled)

MAD - HAM, mainline evening flight

I am usually not a big fan of pasta dishes on flights as they easily tend to be / become dry but this was a rather tasty option.
Cava available (including refills) and drinks were nice chilled.
SK and AirbusA350 like this.

LHR - MAD dep 10:45

No oil or butter for the bread.
One single prawn and a leaf of limp lettuce.
Nice chunky and tasty piece of veal, but the whole dish was barely lukewarm (maybe connected to being served unusually quickly after take off) and needed some “wet” (gravy, juicy veg etc)
Dessert was distillate of Milky Bar, which was fine by me.

First time flying Iberia, and second time overall flying business class within Europe. Was very impressed and overall greatly exceeded expectations. Another MAD-HAM flight from last month:

HAM - MAD, mainline afternoon flight, no menu handed out this time, though crew had one to peek for details of the 2 choices.
Choices were described as pasta or fish.
I chose the fish which turned out to be hake and tasted actually quite good (the smell when they started service was less enticing ).
Good crew with a quick start of the service for a change unlike previous flights...

MAD - PMI, Iberia Express evening flight.
Super busy A321 (with 5 or 6 rows J) so crew a bit in a rush to finish service during the short flight (just under an hour).
