As a side note, I enjoyed my stay at PHS. Good staff, very professional. Rooms were very nice, great view, and helpful concierge. Location is just meh as a tourist but their subway system is so good that it didn't really matter. Still just behind my current fave hotel (Westin Chosun) but it is a nice property.
How was your shower pressure? I've had three rooms in the past year and terrible overhead rain shower. The handheld wasn't good enough either. Sprayed and drenched everything.

Has anyone had any experience with the PH Seoul matching the Conrad's rate? I have a reservation at the Conrad for $230 a night, but can't seem to get the rate that low at the PH. I appreciate any help.

Why on earth would the PH be interested in matching what the Conrad is charging?

That's unlikely to happen...

Only three spa treatment rooms here and you have to book MUCH in advance for a weekend treatment. Sucks.

stayed here for a few nights just after christmas '13. great hotel, the rooms fit our design aesthetic so it was a treat. few quick notes:

- breakfast at cornerstone is fantastic. high quality foods and super tasty. we had an early flight on our checkout date (830am) and they let us take rooms service for breakfast that morning and it showed up right on time. really helped in getting us out of there on time.

- shower: push in the little knob on the temp control to get hotter water past the safety guard. took me a few to figure this out.

- location is ok. there's a hyundai dept store a block away, a casino about 6 or 7 blocks away, and some good restaurants for korean bbq off the main streets. it's at the corner of a major intersection and there's lots of traffic in the area, however there's a subway stop right in front which is very convenient.

- staff is excellent. always ready to help.

Hi Guys,

I'll be staying PH in November and it will be my first time in Seoul. I have a question for those that stayed at PH before.

I'll flying out of ICN on Saturday morning (8:40am) to SGN with Asiana. I read online that you can check in at the CALT when they open at 5:20am. I was planned to check in there when they open and take the Bus Limousine to ICN. Do you think I have time to make my flight? Not sure about the traffic on Saturday morning.

Many thanks for your feedback

OZ @ CALT accept check-ins with luggage until 2h30m before the flight departure time (strict). So long as you make that cut-off, you should have ample time to make your flight. At that hour on a Saturday morning it should take no more than 1h to get to ICN.

You'll be fine at that hour. I hope you'll be staying in a Park Suite there .

Does anyone know if there are complimentary services from the Park Hyatt for Platinum members? What is my most affordable and best route to the airport from the hotel?

Thanks!

im a plat. there's nothing complimentary. like other hotels in asia, ph seoul is very by the book in terms of benefits.

take the airport bus from incheon. i forget how much exactly. maybe 20 or 25 usd. it drops u off close to ph seoul at coex i believe and takes around 2 hrs. from coex, there is 5 minute free shuttle from park hyatt that will take u to hotel.
