This looks like it could be the case. I have a 12/31 entry in my account that looks exactly like how the CC nights post (a "Bonus" entry with no points). It amazes me that a mistake so basic could be made. The 5 CC nights aren't at all urgent; why not just post them on Jan. 2 or after a person's Jan. statement cuts?

If so, this credit card is the gift that keeps on giving.

Yup. I did that and I posted this on a new thread. I was denied. I can’t believe it. I went out of my way for that final night.

Did you speak with a supervisor? In past years, the frontline reps said the same thing, but then people were successful with supervisors.

Just requalified for Globalist via points. Too bad there aren’t any choice awards after 100k base points, and only for those qualifying on nights..

Check out date counts with Hyatt and that's well documented here on FT.

Unfortunately they stopped adjusting the stay based on the members preference a year or two ago. I always have a NYE stay at some Hyatt so I feel ya here.

Haha ... I wish. Had an expensive suite for some business meetings that was just enough to put me over the base point qualification amount.
