I booked HR Dus just now with P+C for December.

Hmmm. maybe because I am trying to make a booking during an exhibition time and I guess HR don't want to offer this option for these busy days.

P+C availability is something that a property can determine themselves, no rules there....

Also I've found that if you are searching using a corporate rate code that P+C isn't shown....just full points availability.

That might be property-dependent. I've seen it for GH Hong Kong, but not for HR Kyoto.

It might also be attributable to Hyatt's state-of-the-art IT.;)

Is it just me or has the amount of points and cash available dates decreased drastically.

Points and cash was never had strong availability in my opinion, but since it is viewable online, I am seeing not a single date at the 20 category 5,6 and 7 properties that i am checking. Now mind you I am mainly checking higher seasons of December, March, July and August as well as weekend dates. But after about probably 1000 searches I have not found a single date for my hotels.

Sure I can find it for some category 3 property in Dallas or something, but definitely not for any of the nicer properties around the world.

I've booked 3 properties in Germany, one in Thailand and one in Japan since it was made available online.... no real problems finding availability. Sure, not every date was available but that has always been the case.

I suspect the latter :-).

A calendar would be nice :)

If they added a calendar, it might be depressing to see how limited C&P really is. :eek:

The easier you make it to book C&P, the more people will book it.

Was able to book Park Chicago for next June on C+P and called in to use a DSU. Lots of availability.

I am. I'm just happy it's available online; one stay I hadn't thought to call in for, I'm getting about 2.5 cents/point for C+P (compared with a very good cash rate).

Checked Paris for July - found zero P&C except at Hyatt Etoile (less desirable location). However rooms are avail for straight points at other Paris Hyatts.

Hyatt should remove its name from this roach infested 1-star property.
How it ever got certified as a Hyatt is (way) beyond my comprehension.
Frankly, I'd rather sleep in the streets!

BTW, the wiki needs to be updated
1) You must call (or contact FT GP concierge, etc) to book these rates; they cannot be booked online (as yet).
