And the rate generally is about €50 more than the HDR, so it's not a great deal unless you can get the bonus points. ymmv, but the WELGP rate is too far above my corp rate to make this work for me...

The promo is for non-US hotels, not residents, so no issue with being US resident. You have to pay with an Amex card to get the 2.5k bonus points, which for sure breaks getting points with the Hyatt card And the rate generally is about €50 more than the HDR, so it's not a great deal unless you can get the bonus points.

Points conversion to miles promotion
Still a newbie to HGP. I see that they have a 5k bonus for transfers of points of 50k or greater expires on 7/31. I also searched and saw a much larger bonus a year ago. Do they regularly have bonus promotions on points to miles transfers or are these pretty rare?
