You should look at the rate calendar and answer the question for yourself.

You should also read this:

I'm not sure what you are looking at but if you choose flexible dates you can keep adding weeks into the future. For example, Nov 20th and 21st are $99/night.

Friday nights are typically dirt cheap here if you book the MVP rate (see thread). I see $79 Fridays in December, $95 in November.

It was, quite reasonably, moved to the Hilton forum b/c it is Hilton related.

If you want to stay a night at an airport hotel just for the view of airport action (runway take off / landing), would you stay at Hilton O'Hare or Grand Hyatt DFW?

Probably ORD, for the greater diversity of airlines and aircraft, unless you just absolutely love AA metal.

DFW does have A380 service though, which is an absolute beast of an aircraft...

1. I believe Dfw has much fewer international airlines service than ord, so what is the best time to watch international airlines (during day time or evening)?

2. Which hotel (gh Dfw or Hilton ord) offers better view of runway?

It isn't on your list, but if you stay at The Tropicana in Las Vegas and get an airport viewing (southeast) room in the Club Tower and you will have a close up view of the entire airport.

off topic, but I think Mandalay Bay is closer to the airport than Tropicana?

I have never stayed at Mandalay Bay, but looking at Google Maps it looks like any room with an airport view would be at an angle. Tropicana has a tower that is positioned parallel to several runways and offers beautiful unobstructed views of planes taking off and landing.

There are lots of metasearch options. Try kayak.com.

Hilton are generally pretty good at having the same rates as the online travel agencies.

You can also do some research and find discount codes, such as the MVP rate.
