A CSR just told me that a system "upgrade" in March (Feb?) was the culprit.
I had 11 no points rentals from Feb 14 to May 10. I have submitted online requests for all of them.

After the system upgrade in March, points stopped posting. The checkbox for "I take Gold points" was unchecked, and thankfully I noticed the switch. Customer service was very snarky with me about the issue and said it was my fault the box became unchecked even though the system update was the cause. She didn't wamt to credit me points for half a dozen rentals, but thankfully I found a different agent that did.
The system is so inconsistent. So annoying...

I did look back through mine just now and found a Feb rental with no points. Submitted online request. One in March was an award rental so zero anyway, and my recent rentals posted okay.

The response to my missing points inquiry:
"Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, your request could not be processed because, our records indicate this rental was previously awarded 0 #1 Awards Points on or around 2013-02-14 based on the information reflected on the original rental record."
I mean, it's so ridiculous that it's funny.
I don't remember how many points it should be, not many, but still.

Every single rental I've made this year has required me to send an email to Customer Service to add the points. I have to say that they have been very efficient in responding and adding a manual credit.
The email I sent in at the beginning of the week has advised that they have flagged the problem to their IT team, to try to figure out why the credits are not automatic........ if I get any insight in any replies, I will post them here.

They've been saying that for about 6-9 months now; at some point, you fire your entire IT staff and start over. That time was probably 2-6 months back.

I hired an SUV for whole month of March this year (28 Days), I received no points and after several requests for the points, you guest it still no points.
Not sure if it has anything to do with the fact that the SUV was upgraded at the start, as they had no vehicles in my class left in the yard.
Why have a rewards points system? if its not going reward customers for renting.

Can you share the customer service e-mail address you used please?. I have been attempting to get credit for "zero points" since 1 June but have effectively received automated replies which never dealt with this problem --the latest response being as described in todays posts.

It was only a $28 rental but points are points. Doubt it's worth my time to pursue.
