Points not posting again?
Two rentals this week (BHM and CLE). Hertz.dumb shows the correct number of total rentals, but the points haven't posted.
Anyone else having any new issues with points not posting? |
Yes, me as well.
Rented a car from Bristol North a couple of weeks ago and the rental showed, but zero points. Just handed one back at ZRH a couple of hours ago, so will see if that one posts, otherwise it's a call to Customer Service. |

Returned a car on 6/13 - took 4 days for points to post. Returned a car on 6/15 - points have not posted Returned a car on 6/18 - points have not posted Returned a car on 6/20 - points have not posted Returned a car on 6/23 (yesterday) - points posted immediately. The rental count went up (which is all that matters to me :cool:). I will talk to CS later this week but before that, I submitted a missing points request. I know the 'missing points' request system does not work, but some CS always insists to try that first. |
I infrequently check my points from Hertz. Last week, I decided to. I had 0 points added for all of Feb, March, April, and most of May! (I rent a car every week). This coupled with their putrid CS, and IT issues with my company's travel tool, and Hertz's booking system have led me to FIRE Hertz!!
National did a status match, easily for me, to Executive Elite, and already I feel better! Hertz blows! A few co-workers, have already made the switch and love National. In one phone call with National, I got better CS than 20 with Hertz. Bye bye Hertz! |
It's the same with me as well. My two weeks worth of points have not posted.

They won't give me FF pts for my rentals because apparently the rental charges were too small, but they didn't hesitate to charge me the $0.75/day plus tax FF surcharge anyway.

I filled out missing points request too, knowing full well nothing comes of it. I tweeted them about it, and they added the points manually, but not the right amount.
This is getting pretty annoying. I may do what others have done and switch companies because I am about tired of Hertz, their old-... clunkers, and their terrible IT. |

My YTD tally suddenly dropped to '0'.... so not only are my points/rental credits not posting, they are actually disappearing.
