Just a note to remind people we are coming up to the end of the year, anyone signing up for FC now, just for the CET diamond status is again rolling the dice that it will be renewed for next year. If it's not renewed, your Diamond status will end Jan 31, 2020, effectively meaning you are paying for a little over 4 months of Diamond status. Maybe if you have a bunch of trips planned over the next few months then it pays off, or you are getting FC for some other benefits, otherwise keep in mind it may end on Jan 31 2020.
This is a public service message, I'm sure the people hustling FC points are not going to point this out to anyone.

Hi. If I sign up for the FC card now, and become diamond, and if FC renews the contract for next year, does that mean I will be diamond untill Jan of 2021, or diamond until this time next year when my year of FC is up? Also can someone send me a code? Thank you!

Please correct me if I'm wrong... so from what I am reading over the many pages of this great thread is;
1) At this point it is best to wait until next year to sign up since there is no guarantee that TR will re-up with FC again although from the past deals it seems likely.
2) I seen a couple people mention that if you do the 3 month trial that is floating around (and FC has emailed me about this directly), you will not get the TR benefit but if you get the trial, and try to cancel they make an offer for $200 off your first year which would make the first year $195 ($395 1 year membership-$200 please don't cancel take this discount to stay). Has anyone else been successful with this lately? For $195 I would definitely jump in as it would pay for itself after just 6 nights at TR.
3) I see some folks here are offering 5,000 TR RC which i know is worth $50 for signing up under their referral link.

- How does this work? I see on the Cesars site they want both parties present to do the transfer (unless its a outdated page).
- Whats the common going rate to just purchase this from someone since RC is needed for the Diamond Lounge (AC, PA).

New Tier expiration dates?
WE'VE UPGRADED OUR SYSTEM PROCESS
Effective September 24, 2019, we will be upgrading our system process to update Tier Status expiration dates.Moving forward, the expiration date reflected in your account will be the actual date your Tier Status is due to expire. Make sure you continue to earn enough Tier Credits each calendar year to maintain your Tier Status for the following year.
This was in my email yesterday.

Edit: To clarify, the earning and tier status time frames are the same. It's just more of a visual and FYI type improvement. Prior to this update, regardless if you earned status or not for following year, it would say your tier status expires January 31st, 2020. People not familiar with the program, or say folks that earned it in like December will ask or question why their status is expiring so soon. With this new update, if you earned status this year, instead of saying January 31st, 2020 expiration, it'll reflect your real tier status expiration date which would be January 31st, 2021.

When you guys link your Caesars card with the Founders card does Caesars re-issue you a Diamond card or do you just use your Founder card at gambling tables and the casino cage (to use the shorter line)?
Also, can anyone confirm if/how you get into the Caesar's Diamond lounges - I've read you can't, it costs $10 and it costs 1000 credits (so, $10 in credits, I assume?).

That's correct. In order to get into the Diamond/Laurel lounges, you need 25K tier credits previous/current year. If not, you can ONLY pay to get in with 10K Reward Credits, equivalent to $10. Can't pay $10 cash or CC to get in.
If you really desire to get into the lounge and have no RCs, can always purchase Wyndham points and then transfer it to CR at 1:1.

You need to go to the Caesars Rewards desk/center to get your new card. Can't use Founders card at the casino.
