That's up to the hotel, remember Atlantis is a partner, not a CET property. I'd say you have to show face and check in though. In some stays in Vegas, a friend could check in on a comped reservation before me, but I had to at least show up at some point and show ID otherwise they'd charge full rates.

I specifically meant the CET partnership being renewed, I am not currently a member and unless the partnership continues 99% chance I won't join. Even with the partnership, due to CET changes it may be difficult to join.

I got a generic response stating that the contract is set to expire at the end of the month but that we will hear soon if it has been extended.

The lack of information is probably not a good thing. It's not as though FC wants to brag about the benefit not being renewed but I'd have to think they would want to if it was going to be renewed. They could still be negotiating but it is getting pretty late in the game with only a little over 3 weeks before end of the current matching.

Does anyone remember when they announced the renewal in previous years?

It is always renewed at the last minute. I would expect not much to change at least this year yet since the merger is just completing or not even finished yet.

Yeah, looks like they are going to keep us in suspense right down the wire. I'm thinking no news is not a good sign for it continuing but we'll see. It just seems like if a deal had been reached, one side or both would be talking about it. I don't think either side would be as anxious to come out and say it was being discontinued.

I have been waiting on this to sign up but I am getting daily emails that the rate is going up $100 over the current "retail" price on 2/1. Worried more they are gasping for breath with the hard sell.

Seems Caesar's Rewards is starting their three levels of Diamond in February of 2020; Diamond, Diamond 'Plus' and Diamond 'Elite'. I'd be surprised if they don't give FC people at least the entry level Diamond Status, since they're tier-matching with other casinos for that level.

Like many of you, if it drops entirely I'll be out of FC.

True. I think the tiers were probably created just to keep both the status matchers and big gamblers happy at the same time, so I can't see Caesars cutting out FoundersCard. But since Caesars has devalued the benefit, I'm sure FoundersCard makes less and they want to pay less. So, there's a lot of negotiating that goes on right up until the last minute every year. I'm 95% sure it will happen. Means too much to founderscard. They'll pony up. But it would be nice if they were negotiating to pay a little more for a higher tier benefit like plus. I can dream, right. If/when they re-up, DM me for my VIP code for $295 off your membership or a 3 month free trial code.

I spoke with Madison today and she told me that they expect to have everything finalized by tomorrow afternoon and they are trying to make sure that there are no lapses in status.

I spoke with her this morning and got the same answer......

I wonder how many times she has been asked this question in the past few weeks

It happened earlier than what she told me. Now I can go to Atlantic City on Saturday and not have to worry about resort fees or paying for parking.
