As for OW tier benefit to NAN lounge it says

ie is included on codeshares to my understanding.

While the points column for non-sponsored airlines' tier members travelling on FJ operated flights strictly says zero award and zero tier points with footnote

My reading is that AY marketed FJ operated falls into that zero points category, just as Fuji link flights. But I am happy to be educated on the matter!

In the text is also

Again, indicating that only customers of sponsoring airlines are able to earn points.

And from their FAQ:
OK, so asked it from Finnair on Twitter and here is the conversation:

Right!

(Although eg. in the case of SU to SVO, you'll earn less points because SVO is less than 1000 km. OTOH, LIS on TP will get you a lot more points than the AY standard...)

I get all you are saying except this. The pages clearly talks about OW tier members and how they earn and enjoy perks on flights operated by FJ.

This all makes sense if the FJ pages are meant to refer to flights operated and marketed by FJ.

But will Value fares be available? Hopefully this falls outside the transatlantic cartel even if there is a transatlantic segment?

Also, I guess that the AY codes will only be available on connecting flights, not if making a stop-over in Asia or California

Should be. Eg flights to BDA and NAS have value tickets available even if there is TATL flight.

Booking those is different exercise tho...

Price not good. And horrible that LATAM flight, done that.
Best Y I could do was Finnair through usa and AA to GRU and then I found a kind chap who swapped me an SWU so I could fly Y all the way but upgraded Finnair segment and also AA segment upgraded. And lots of points for less than 600€. Sadly noT possible anymore I reckon.

I’m curious, what made it horrible? I’ve only done LATAM (well actually LAN) within Americas.

Btw, could the code-share stay even when LATAM leaves oneworld?

So, today it's last departure to CKG.

This route was operated from 09MAY2012 and W17 route was suspended.

Bye bye then Chongqing.

Indeed, huge airport that felt totally deserted, like a ghost town. Sorry to see CKG disappear from the AY network, as Chongqing was one of the nicest and most interesting Chinese cities I've been to

How peculiar. No press release saying "Finnair start to decline in Japan".

And Finnair sent cancellation notices to those who had already booked those. Well, I guess this far in advance, they can move them to AY72/AY74 with no hassles.
