Don't know if it's worth for a Plat but at the moment the difference in on-board service between Gold and Plat is zero (I guess).
I flew in C in December and every passenger in Business had a 2-seater for themself. Service and food was as GaryK84 described above even though it was Norra.

Yeah, flying in J w/ AY from HEL is currently a "strictly onboard" experience. At the airport, the only "perk" you get is the priority check-in. So, the question you need to ask yourself is would you upgrade your flight for the onboard experience? If the answer for that is yes, then go ahead, as in J it is pretty much the same as pre-COVID (minus the possibility to choose from different meal options).

I believe they actually block seats in J on E90, so you should have no seatmate. But if your destination is one where the plane is mostly empty, I wouldn't bother. Row 11 is better than J on a short flight.
Breakfast (to AGP) was pretty substantial. Omelette, cold cuts, bread roll, yoghurt, fruit. It's a long flight, and planes are mostly full, so an upgrade was worth it in my books. But would I upgrade FRA/PRG/AMS... Nah, I don't think so.

What is going on here? Why didn't they fly an A319 there? Why didn't the border guards let those people in, as it's specifically in the regulations that unforeseen long transits qualify for entry?

Maybe nobody tried to enter, but even then it was absolutely obvious that entry should've been granted. What an absolute Finnish farce. It seems to me the HEL COVID-19 theatre either doesn't work at all and it's pure optics, or then it goes into overkill mode like now. Obviously the airport procedures aren't well refined, if even one year later their own written interpretations of the rules don't work in practice.
And I/we have to pay for that shyteshow...
