Here we go again.. 😁😁

Have you calculated going for Lumo makes any real sense or just going for it as "you can"? How many segments a year you actually need to fly to be somewhere let that be for work or fun?

The perks over normal plat are not so great that I would calculate carefully. Running for Plat I can still understand but doing 150 segments...huhh..

If you go for it, I am sure you can read all HS for the last 5 years 😂

Edit: to further add my thoughts how to go for Lumo...I would never do 150 (or even 100-120 with upgrades..) Y segments a year...9x ex-EU to Asia rtn in J @1.200-1.500eur and 50k a pop = something like 12-13k€. 150 segments will cost a lot too no matter how booked..

Just food for thought..

I think OH-LGG could manage easily with less than 4k.

Maybe, and I understand the hobby aspects etc but it is sooo much time spent..but full respect, we all value things differently. 👍

Also, to add to the calculation..doing by points gives back MUCH more with 200/300/400k bonuses and points from flights on top, of course. And, you can stop at 350k and exchange the rest..

"Tokmanni style" Lumo takes 3825 euros = 150 segments and gives 187500 tier points.

Thanks.

And when AY narrow body fleet is wi-fi installed, then I can mix my hobby and work. = more time = can start a new and cheaper hobby.

So you can virtually quit your office space at helvantaa and spare that money for new hobbies while moving your office onboard. Now I got it

Well, I have to fly 350k points worth or 150 segments by 31.1.2019 if I want to keep my shiny new Lumo card. I better get to work on it right away!

Hehe, I though my starting point was ideal for a Lumo dash!

In fact, I rarely run. I've held top tier for 9 years, basically going places I wanted to go, albeit mindful of points earning.

I think someone must be thinking about code share arrangements and multi-leg tickets. And not everything has to be code share on AY code, as 50 of the legs can be anything.
