Anyone gotten their free night yet? I'm really hoping that those of us who spent $12k end up with a cert good for a year (per the letter we received), because my next planned Fairmont stay is in March... would love to use one of these free night certs to save $400 in Maui!

Free Night Certificate

Nope. Still waiting on my free night certificate for spending $6K (in under a year)

From what I've read, October 10th is the day... I spent $12K. My anniversary date was Aug. 4th.

You should get a year out of your cert unless you spent all of the $12k between receiving the letter and Aug 14.

ie; I hit $12k in May, and spent another $6k after getting the letter, so I got a cert good til June 2018, and my 2nd cert will end on Feb 28. If I had spent another $12k rather than $6k, same exp date, which is why I stopped there. There was nothing to gain from spending $12k at that point.

A reminder. The 8 to 10 weeks is from August 14. They're not late.

There was discussion in several posts that people were "told" October 10 was the day, hence the discussion today.

Online, as Fairmont is a small outfit and there is no need to drive their call center crazy.

October 10 is the 8 week mark

Since this hasn't been explicitly mentioned here for a bit; October 10th is the 8 week mark and October 24 will be 10 weeks.
