But good question. I did ask in the tech forum ‘where have all the avatars gone?’

Anyone know the minimum flight time for mattresses to be loaded onto the flight?

Those 3 hours or so of sleep on my flights to and from MAA are crucial but I always find it difficult to sleep without the mattress.

Just bagged a points upgrade Yflex to J on my EK26 GLA- DXB flight on Christmas Eve, delighted as thought there would be no chance of availability opening up on a late December flight

first time The Emirates alerts have worked perfectly for me.
Deal was made sweeter as me and the wife had already planned on arriving at GLA early and paying for lounge access.

I've never been but based on Google Maps that sounds right.

Next time I go I want to get a 787-9 model, that'd be awesome.

So I have some personal travel coming up in April.... Sadly I've had to pull the trigger and fly QR J rather than EK. It was just a bit too pricy for us at $8000 each. QR SYD-DOH-EDI rtn for $5200. Any EK regulars have experience of the QR J product? I'm on a 77W, 787 and A388 so should get a well rounded experience.
