I'm sitting in the J lounge in concourse B as I type this. It's 2:40 am and it's pretty busy here, but from what I have read before it's "rush hour" at DXB at the moment. Although busy there are plenty of free seats available. The area around the Möet bar was actually pretty quiet when I was there about an hour ago. I guess there aren't many QF pax here at the moment
They are all in the F lounge

Oh sorry was that the question. In $200, as being a guest is not relevant to paid access there as far as I understand it, they're buying access independent of you being with them or being entitled to J access.

Anyone taken advantage of this yet? I have a question.
I'm considering paying for Mrs Syd to get in to the F lounge. Would the complementary 15 minute spa treatment that those travelling in F be included?

how strictly is the "4 hour limit" part enforced ?
Can anyone tell me how strictly Emirates enforce the "4 hour limit" part of the lounge upgrade?
We're flying in business class from BKK to AMS with a 7 hour layover in DXB. We've never flown first class and aren't likely to either, so chances of ever using the F lounge are minimal. I would happily pay the $200 for both of us to upgrade from the business to first class lounge, but I would really hate to be kicked out after our 4 hours were up.
Any experiences of "stretching" the 4hrs limit?
Or anyone unceremoniously kicked out when their 4 hrs were up?
Thanks in advance, MDMK

To be honest after 7 hours, either would get boring.

In your case I'd stay as long as possible in the J lounge and then upgrade to the F lounge when they kick you out.
