Question on EK load: I check in roughly 12 hours from now. Overnight it seems like the seats were blocked - though expert flyer says occupied and done in a weird way. Is this normal or should I rush to buy a seat? Flight load was about 50% in economy as of yesterday. Or is this just preallocated seating? Fare class on Expert Flyer shows this: F4 A0 J7 C7 I0 O0 H0 Y9 E9 R9 W9 M9 B9 U9 K9 Q9 L9 T9 V9 X9

Whilst checking the loads can give you some idea, there are so many factors that can make reality very different to seeing Y9 etc.... I have had flights where I have got Op-ups on flights looking wide open and then not got Op-ups on flights that looked overbooked. If you are talking about having more space around you I'm not sure what help would buying a seat achieve?

This is normal as EK allocates seats at this time to all pax who haven't paid or chosen their seat free. You can still make your own choice when OLCI opens.

I think some data feed error/information not available - EF isn't worth it for EK right now. I need to cancel mine.
