As the article says: Miami is the top candidate as it can accommodate Airbus A380s. It also has a large population and receives feeder traffic from Central and South America as well as the Fort Lauderdale area.

Also EK has partnership with JetBlue which has a small hub out of MCO.

That's a very good point and one I completely forgot about. B6 can provide a decent amount of Caribbean feed to EK at MCO. The Caribbean has a large Indian presence which could definitely feed into MCO and then on to DXB and points in the subcontinent, middle east, and Asia.

Second Flight from Seattle announced..

It was interesting to learn that EK is starting another flight out of SEA. I wish they had started a A380 instead. Meanwhile, Delta has stopped its flights to Mumbai.

Seattle's Indian population is a good cachement for Emirates - most of them headed for India or having families come over to visit them annually. Smart move!!

I'm quite happy with the new flight, now I can get home from Dubai in 2 flights under 20 hours by hitting the morning connections out of SEA

Also I doubt they will ever fly a A380 to the home of Boeing...

Seems like a lot of pax on the SEA flights are actually from YVR (either via connecting flight or drive down to SEA).

Excellent news for AS flyers. While in LA, we lost the second flight some time ago. Although we do have the 380.

From 1st September GIG EZE (EK247/248) will switch from daily B77L to daily B77W. B77L used for MCO from this date - thanks to HB-IWC for updating the wiki!

B77L will be used for daily flights to MCO, SEA, HND, SEZ, BCN, LYS (5 weekly) from 1st September.
One of two daily flights to DME will be operated by B77L from 1st June to 1st October.
One of two daily flights to BCN will switch from B77L to B77W from 1st February 2016.

Some new destinations with B77L should be announced soon.

EK receives more or less 1 B77W and 1 A380 each month. Is there really a shortage of aircraft? Some aircrafts will leave the fleet and up to now there are not so much new/additional flights announced so far:

JFK +7/7
BCN +7/7
DPS new 7/7
SEA +7/7 but PER -7/7
BHX +7/7
MCO new 7/7

in total +35/7 (more or les 6-7 aircrafts needed for this flights)

If there won't be no new destiantions, I hope to see at least some more additional frequencies.

Surely more than 6/7? Some of these flights can't return in less than 24 hours. I'd say more like 10-12 aircraft needed.
