It varies by location / city as different companies are used. Sometimes it is email, sometimes a text, sometimes a call. And sometimes it is the day before your flight, or days before. As long as the booking is in MMB you will likely be fine. If it gets to 12 hours out and you’re anxious, call EK or the CD company if you know which it is.

Hiccups do happen, but are rare IME.

In DXB yes, elsewhere usually nut (in my experience).

Emirates says it is available in Jakarta (CGK). Any experience with this?

Flying F to DXB with a partner (in Y). Any chance that the chauffeur would be willing to do two drop-off stops in the city (to drop us off in two different locations) or is this strictly prohibited?

The drivers are not allowed to, and, in Dubai especially, I would not ask them to.

My local airport is NCL but I am wanting to travel in 1st and therefore looking at flying out of MAN and paying the extra for the CD. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to book the CD for the day before travel? Then we could stay overnight at MAN
thank you in advance

Somewhat unclear how it works but about 6 or so flights ago I seemed to have flipped from getting an E-class to an S-class every time in London, not sure if this is combination of status plus F or now all F departures from London get this.

I had an S Class run in London and thought they’d brought some order to it, but was brought back down to earth the last two times 😂.

I think it’s random. I had an E Class out of LHR two weeks ago in F. My colleague in J (unclear status) on the same flight had an S Class.

LHR CD

Hi all,

I’ve got a CD booked from my home to LHR this week - how many hours in advance should one expect a first contact from the provider? And is the provider Addison Lee or someone else?

Thanks

Oztravellerleeds Oct 28, 2024 9:47 am

Usually contact within 24 to 48hrs and as far as I am aware it’s Addison Lee
