Has anyone had luck in JFK changing CD after you've gotten in the car to somewhere nearby (within 5 minutes of original destination)? Can you just arrange it with the driver?

Is the CD waiting room / lounge at LHR open? I have only seen mentions of it pre-COVID

It reopened post-COVID but then closed again a couple of months ago for refurbishment. Not sure if that’s now completed or not.

It closed earlier this year for refurb, but looked like it was back open again yesterday.

We're travelling GLA-DXB-MEL Tuesday 10th December. CD is booked for GLA and MEL but I'm just wishing to confirm my understanding that we should receive an email from Addison-Lee (who sub-contract to West of Scotland Limousines) a few days before to confirm the booking?

I haven't tried it but if you know when you land that you're going to change destination, it may be good to tell the dispatch guy (right after exiting customs) to make sure there are no issues and that it doesn't put the driver in a weird spot.

I had a Tesla pick me up in Dubai - a first! The driver said that Emirates has now added Tesla and Lexus to their fleet.

Had a Tesla pick me up pre-pandemic. Lexus too more than once. Usually happens when they are short of cars and they sub-contract.

Did they have the Emirates logo on the side? If not, likely it was a short-term fix and the driver was being optimistic. It’s a better gig for the drivers than the normal Uber Black, or whatever, they’d be used for.

interesting - thanks. I figured it must have been an outsourced thing due to supply constraints, since there was no emirates logo and the driver was going at max speed throughout the journey!

Lexus is okay but Tesla is definitely not a car that should be used as a limo service, with the harsh ride and awkward sitting position (unless it's the Model Y).

EK chauffer service at Mumbai airport

Expecting my parent to arrive at Mumbai airport and have booked Chauffer service pickup at the airport but I still plan to go to the airport to pick them up. I was wondering if I could travel with my parent back from the airport to our home, assuming the chauffer allows me in their car? I am not traveling, only my mom is (Business class EK)

Which floor does the EK chauffer service depart from?

I believe arrivals is P6. Premium parking is also at P6 where EK chauffer drive cars (E-Class typically) are parked so there are no stairs to climb or elevators to take. The Blacklane chauffeurs will be standing in a large group as you exit (look to the left) with pax names on placards as soon and your mom should have no trouble locating them. The chauffeur should not have any issues in you accompanying your mom - hand him a tip in case he does.
