Cheers guys! Im trying to make my mind up as to book J class to FLL or MCO .... I need to go north of orlando but also want to choose the best product.
FLL seems to have the refurbished 77L. No idea about the MCO route as there doesn't seem to have any consistency?
The alternative would be to go to JFK on the A380 and take a connecting flight from there.
Was hoping that they would use the newer J class seats on the 77W to MCO as I hate the lie flat seats on the older 77W!
Thanks guys!

Retirement, Updates and deliveries fleet
Some info in EK's fleet in September 2018 are:
*777: EQO, EQP to join fleet soon.
*EMV, EMX will be withdrawn end of this month and flew for CX soon?
*EBS and EBT to be the last 77W's to Rossiya delivered scheduled for Sep/Oct 2018.
*Most of the 777/A380's that used the EXPO 2020 Decal are repainted to Expo 2020 CS (Orange, Blue and Green). EPB and ENG are the latest to have got the repaints.
*Per Planespotter source, EUW latest A380 joined fleet.

Per routesonline source, EMX will be retired likely next month and all 773 will go for 77L or 77W.

I got it, no matter what it is, 2 of them will be flying for CX soon likely next month or later. So I think once they are gone, there will be no more RR powered 777 anymore after the 772 got away as well last year. The only RR powered jet flown by EK is the A380-842 if not mistaken after the 773 is gone from it's fleet.

Strange that FR24 shows it flying from DFW to MKE as AA1234.
Now, it's not uncommon for EK aircraft to show up as AA1234 when they are at the maintenance facility in DXB, but FR24 actually shows A6-EBV flying from DFW to MKE on both 18th and 19th September with that callsign. Very strange.
EDIT: Probably a bug on FR24s end. AA1234 was operated by a regular MD83 on both 18/19th September.

Can anyone confirm the frames that the new A380 bar is on? A lot of news reports and posts have EUX as the first frame and thus EUY, EUZ and EVA should have it, but since the frames delivered out of "alphabetical order" I am not entirely sure if there are other frames that have the new bar.
Here's the delivery order starting at EUX according to airfleets:
(MSN- Delivery Date - Reg. No.)
241 27/07/2017 A6-EUX
242 29/08/2017 A6-EUY
244 29/09/2017 A6-EUZ
236 27/10/2017 A6-EUT
239 06/11/2017 A6-EUV
234 30/11/2017 A6-EUS
232 16/03/2018 A6-EUR
167 26/04/2018 A6-EVA
238 01/07/2018 A6-EUU
240 17/09/2018 A6-EUW
I've scoured the 'net for photographic proof (assuming it's tagged correctly) and surmise that UX, UY, UZ, UT, UV have the newest bar.
The rest, just don't have proof.

Wouldn't all frames after EUX have it by default?
AFAIK, once a 'new' product is introduced in a specific aircraft, it is then included in all subsequent delivered aircraft as well.
Take the new 6F first class cabin EQH for example, it came with EQH and is the same in all frames delivered after it.
