ECP and ENN are in storage at DWC now too.
However, ECK returned from storage.
Thus, I believe, this has nothing to do with the frames becoming old, but more like EK not needing the whole fleet due to things like the Qatar Crisis, and temporarily storing some frames.

Wow I hope ECP comes back soon. Still have nostalgic memories of such a great flight on that bird.

My list isn't exactly up to date either, but it does include EPA.
I'm sure all new ones have WiFi, it's the older models that really matter, that being said however, I think most, if not all have had it retro-fitted.

Not that I travel as often as you or anyone else on this forum, but the past 3 A6-ENx frames I've been on have all had WiFi. A pleasant surprise that the WiFi worked and was perfectly usable on the ISB-DXB route.
Was in a similar situation this August. Not fun when it's half past 3 in the morning.

23.38, 78mins past EOBT and we just pushed back. Asked an FA if she knew how long the delay would be and she said she only knows what the captain said in his PA, great "I was asleep and didn't hear it" and just got a polite nod... Lucky me with an almost 4h transit in DXB there was lightning right over the airfield as we boarded though (in BOM) and my earlier flight HYD-BOM on Indigo was delayed 45 mins due to congestion in BOM so all par for the course, really.
I'll take a look at the Google Doc later, thanks for sharing!

The fun is sitting the terminal in CPT waiting to board a domestic LCC flight and seeing an EK 77W taxy past and recognizing the reg as one you've flown previously. Unfortunately it's the type of joy no one around you understands

The last 5 777 classic frames left are as follows:
EMQ, EMR, EMT, EMV, EMX
2 of which (EMV, EMX) are currently stored at DWC.
Don't know if the deal is still on though. As a side note, the hull written off during the Dubai crash landing was one of the frames originally included in the deal.
