Sugar snap peas and onion cooked on the same grill, seasoned with basil, black pepper, garlic
Canned crescent rolls (don't judge :))
Baked potatoes (baked, as always, on a bed of rock salt)

no judgement ....those crescent rolls are good. I use them in place of puff pastry sometimes .
How are you grilling sugar snap peas?

I use cans and boxes all the time. Zero guilt judgment etc.
it’s still way less bad than what restaurants use.

I’ve lowered my organic obsession because of no more restaurants. I used to eschew produce if it wasn’t organic because it balanced with the conventional served at restaurants. Now I’ll buy the spray-bombed product of organic isn’t available because I’m still eating way less chemicals than before.

Last night it was grilled lamb cutlets and grilled capsicums, followed by roasted apricots and pecorino with black truffle.

I use a medium/heavy gauge aluminum pie pan, give it a light spray of Pam, then put the veggies in the pan and season. Pan of veggies then goes over the coals while whatever meat cooks.

...

I like the idea of baking them on a bed of rock salt. I have chunky salt which might be similar. I’m going to try it. So excited. Normally I’m just puncturing the potatoes and adding butter or olive oil for the rotation.

Pacific cod, zucchini, tomatoes, sun dried tomatoes, shallots, basil and oregano cooked in parchment paper. (All veggies but the shallots and sun dried tomatoes were home grown.)

No sun dried ants for seasoning? I hear that in some cuisines, Mexican perhaps, they add quite a bit of flavor. Two birds, one stone...

I would be thrilled to have sun-dried ants. Instead I have very much alive ants that are still destroying my front yard.

You can definitely call me a mass murderer, because I've killed thousands thus far this year.

Homemade salisbury steak with mashed potatoes. A decent Napa cab alongside.

Yotam Ottolenghi's version of Chicken Marbella (this one calls for dates instead of prunes; the recipe is in his book , the US edition has US measurements).
