What is red rice?
It was better when you first order it, but got tough when I reheated it in the microwave. But still yummy nonetheless.

As for red rice:

I did a bone-in leg of lamb on the kamado this past weekend. It was really good, but I may do boneless the next time. I'm thinking if I unfold it, I can get some garlic and herbs inside the roast and then tie it back up before cooking.

A trio of delights from the freezer: baked chicken breasts (in a marinade), frozen peas sauteed with garlic and butter, and tater tots.

I had Gyu-Kaku along with a Chinese birthday cake for my mum's birthday last night.

Man, it's still sitting in my stomach!

Grilled figs with blue cheese
Grilled artichokes with chipotle/garlic mayo
Salad with romaine and arugula, slivered almonds, dried cranberries with Trader Joe's Sweet & Spicy Mango Vinaigrette (which I highly recommend)
Salmon grilled en papilotte with mustard/mayo/dill

Way too much food which is good--I love leftovers.

Caprese salad, chicken parmesan, and pinot grigio. It's good to be home sometimes.
