Yesterday: BBQ mahi-mahi with a homemade mustard teriyaki sauce, green beans, and the same corn bread muffins as above.

Tonight something I've never tried on the BBQ: Grilled bell peppers stuffed with black beans, Spanish rice, cheese, and fresno and jalapeńo peppers.

It's 80 degrees right now so I'm going to grill while watching what the weather is doing in the rest of the country on TV

Nothing special.... it's just some locally made spicy mustard-based sauce my fiancee picked up at a farmers' market mixed in a bowl with Kikoman teriyaki sauce. One part mustard to two parts teriyaki.

Chicken tenders and tater tots. I need a short break from eating the rainbow. I decided this during today's high-folate dark red and green leafy lettuce salad lunch.

Leftover shepherd's pie. Gordon Ramsay recipe. Really boring. I should have halved it. Then I could have thrown the rest out and not felt too guilty.

Homemade pizza with hot Italian sausage and pepperoni, very light on the cheese, and nary a vegetable in sight. Perfect!

I had a Blaze pizza for lunch today - shredded mozzarella, mozzarella di bufala, basil, spinach, green peppers, roasted red peppers, banana peppers, cherry tomatoes, onions. Perfect!

Yeah, maybe some basil, but I wouldn't want any of the other toppings other than the mozzarella. In fact, I don't think I've ever heard of such a vile combination.

Acceptable vegetables on pizza include mushrooms, black olives, artichoke hearts, and green onions.
