It promises to be a most excellent vintage, I must say! I didn't think it would be possible to beat the Baron de Lidl 1998, but this one may do it!

This evenings repast consisited of a Shrimp Cocktail, followed by a Sourdough Clam Chowder Bowl at Newport Landing in Balboa, California.

This was topped off with a frozen banana, dipped twice in chocolate, and coated in chocolate sprinkles, at the nearby Fun Zone.

Our dinner consisted of several drunken girls ordering Papa Johns in a 3:1 ratio of what we ordered vs. what we would actually eat.

My place reaks of pizza this morning.

Last night: fig and walnut bread with neal's yard golden cross cheese and a bouchon de sancerre toasted, served with a fresh perfectly ripe pear

Cauliflower soup with chervil, nutmeg and creme fraiche a la alice waters

Taller half also had a steak (bleah)

had the same for lunch this afternoon. yum.
