Tofu rendang doesnt sound tasty to me. At least youre trying, for your wife. I love real rendang with toasted paratha.

Moose Tracks(original) has become one of my favorite ice cream flavors over the past couple of years. I've tried many brands. Winco, Best Yet, Crystal, Signature, and a couple of others. My fav is Signature from Walmart. I don't have a Walmart nearby so I usually go with Crystal which is second best.

This was Ralph's Private Selection...huge chunks of really good chocolate. Actually, I think it was called Extreme Moose Tracks.
I am not familiar with Crystal.

Making an Ina Garten seafood chowder, with ciabatta toast. It's a cold and gray day here, so seems fitting for the first unofficial day of fall.

ETA: Recipe was delicious! In case anyone wants to try it: https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ina-garten/seafood-chowder-recipe-1925488

I do and my spouse sometimes has a need to go there. I’ve started a list for future whims. I continue to not go there, the way I’m avoiding WF despite having AMZN CC!

Why don't you just order through Amazon and have it delivered as WF is one of their brands.

My wife has been supporting a Filipina friend who lost her restaurant due to Covid-19. She cooks from home and sells the meals. Tuesday, she ordered Kare' Kare' and a separate order of Beef w/Onions that she wanted me to try. I do like some Filipino foods especially the way they make Spaghetti with a sweet Meat Sauce that actually contains pieces of hot dogs as well, but this was so salty, I could not eat it. She then tried it, and said the same, but would not call her friend to let her know. We wasted some money that we don't really have as to me it's inedible.

Ugh sorry about the sodium. Not fun.
did I mention about finding and fetching fresca at a target? I’ve shared your insights about coke not being able to produce the fresca and people know that this is info from “teddy bear on flyertalk” even though your real name is teddybear99!!

Always bring it to their attention, otherwise how can they fix it? No need to be mean, just say it was too salty. Personally, Id mix in some bottled sauce that wasnt salty to even the salt level out.

Ive run into problems with my wifes cooking with similar things. You dont want go criticize, but you dont want them to waste their effort on something thats not right.
