Unfortunately I might be grounded for longer. Several big projects ramping up. None requiring travel.

I suppose, you were quite prescient when choosing your FT handle!

I can't recall the name but only remember it was located within a large enclosed hawker mall like facility. I do recall the char sieu was excellent and likely one of, if not the best, the finest I've ever had. Looking forward to having it again and will likely inquire with my hotel's concierge to see if he/she can isolate the place with the admittedly flimsy details I'm able to recall.
Hoping when I can get away, my next trip will include Penang... supposed to be another food paradise.
Kinda sorta. I definitely don't qualify as some of the others on here do. But as much of my work has become remote in some form or another (eg, cloud-based or virtualized with some sort of remote access) many of the trips were already falling off. Anything outside of Canada/US/Caribbean would be personal travel.... I hope some of that will change in the future, Although in today's climate (travel delays/misconnects/rule changes) and with me getting to know many of my (elderly) neighbours, I'm not in much of a rush. It just means instead of many trips, I might do just one or two to the other branches a year (for now)

I’m trying to eat more beans and less meat, so tonight I made a variant of rice and beans.
brown rice in the rice cooker
black beans (what I had)
Once the beans were cooked, I sauted garlic, tomatoes, and mushrooms in olive oil, added some lemon juice, togarashi, Lawry’s salt, black pepper, and paprika. Added the beans, stirred it all together, then spooned it on top of the rice.
It was good! Not bad for throwing something together.
