Charcoal-grilled rockfish and Coho salmon using this marinade; grilled asparagus (same marinade); fresh strawberries (surprisingly decent for this time of year); homemade cornbread muffins; Diet Dr Pepper -- and plain M&Ms

It'll be my final night in Singapore before heading off, so thought I'd not only try the buffet but also the hotel. So, just in case it's busy, I'm hoping as a hotel guest I can ensure a reservation. By the way, I'm assuming it's a dinner buffet? I'll likely have reacquainted myself with the local hawker fare, especially their specialty crab (no idea what it's called) dish, and looking forward to a relaxing Vegas type buffet with a ton of variety.

When I went, it was a dinner buffet (was not staying there, was a guest of a guest)... I just entered a search in
and the first video was from a month ago... Looks like they did some remodeling but still quite large.

As for crab... Technically you have three types... Chili (best known for), pepper and salted egg. Not sure where the best stuff is but I suspect someone on here can make a suggestion.

Thanks for the link! Ok, that's got to be one of the best buffet spreads I have ever seen and surpasses anything I've experienced in Vegas. I'm assuming it can't be cheap especially when being offered a 25% off voucher for the buffet upon signing up for their rewards program. Obviously, I'm not only going to try this but will likely be in their dinner room for several hours, and will be in no condition to walk anywhere except up the elevator to my room.

I can see from the video already my go to entrees, prime rib (looks fabulous!), the chef's signature fatty pork (better enjoy this before getting too full), and the seafood station. Afterwards, hoping I can still try a little of everything else.

At the time, something like S$89 with free flow water/softdrinks and S$120 or so for alcohol... But that has likely gone up. Unfortunately I have never been to Vegas so I don't have a point of reference but it was significantly better than most buffets I have been to... But also priced to match.

One of these days, I need to find me one of those South American slice at your table meat places...

LOL. That's thee thing about buffets... They're very dangerous... And afterwards, you always feel regret... Often in more ways than one.

Now back to my soft-boiled egg and toast.

LOL...I've had those regrets so many times, but my Grandmother used to tell me that when you eat, eat like you mean it! I've obviously taken that to heart.

Going to have ribeye steaks tonight after watching that clip.

Leasing office at my complex had a pizza party with a disproportionate amount of pies ordered.
Made the mistake of grabbing a whole one for myself and have been begrudgingly eating it everyday all week.

Cant bear to throw it away though..

No! Don't throw pizza away. It freezes just fine. Just be sure to heat it up properly (NOT the microwave).

I wish it were that affordable now. I found two places.... both $75++.

Also the meat quality there vs. here vs. wherever are vastly different... Especially the beef.
