LOL...Not cholesterol but I do fret, at least in the deep recess of my mind, a tad about gout, since both my Father and Grandfather were afflicted with it. However, thus far, knock on wood, I've been spared any health ailments whatsoever--I've been one of the fortunate ones with the "silver bullet" when it comes to health. Be that as it may, as I'm staring 50 in the face (may need some anti-depressants when those AARP flyers start rolling in), I suspect and it has been impressed upon me that perhaps embracing moderation would be in order.
Towards that end, only having black coffee & water tonight, and will fast going into Easter Sunday feast, and, of course, with complete abstinence from alcohol.
PS - As a hedge, I still workout religiously, both weights & cardio, and almost daily.

Butterflied leg of lamb and asparagus from the grill. Lamb marinated in lemon juice and olive oil with garlic and rosemary. Taken off the grill at an internal temperature of 140. House made tzatziki sauce. Roasted butternut squash. Shiner bock.
