I've enjoyed many meals at the El Paso Cattle Baron, just down the street from ELP

Well, on that note, here's my wife's dinner - cheeseburger with green chile. She's not a big beef eating gal but remarked hiw tasty the burger itself was. I tried a little and found the beef to be superior:

A pair of double Shake Shack burgers. Back from a relatively long sojourn (at least by my standards) in SE Asia and after all the feasting was in the mood for something simple and light; so, no milkshake or fries, just water.

Mokis, Sf:

baby back ribs with bok choy and garlic mashed potatoes
ahi poke

sushi:
rock and roll with unagi, hamachi, avocado
moki roll with tempura shrimp
special Waikiki spicy roll with fish & tobiko

i first went to mokis in 2004 when my spouse & I started dating. It was at a nearby location that is now Piqueos, a nice Peruvian restaurant. Why do we say Peruvian and not Peruse or Perush or Perun? If it’s Peru then why are we adding a “v” - it’s not like the nation is called Peruvia.

Bellagio buffet this afternoon for dinner. Basically, prime rib, fatty pork, shrimp and few slices of pizza. Singapore's Shangri-La was definitely better, but was here just to play a few hands to ensure my comps don't expire.
