A Terravin Pinot Noir bought at the cellar door in Marlborough. Beautiful.

I've just decided that it's going to be a 2004 Ch Teynac, St Julian. It's going to be very nice.

Yet more pinot noir. Given the muggy weather in London I can't face anything heavier.

A Chilean Errazuriz Wid Ferment 2011. Not bad, but not a patch on the Terravin upthread.

I opened a 2012 Russian River Valley "Montafi Ranch" Zinfandel and am going to finish it with this Sunday Dinner.

You can keep a bottle of wine from Friday to Sunday? Wow, hats off to you!

'09 Holdredge Mazie Rose pinot noir. Russian River Valley. This was a full throttle pinot noir. Purchased this with mjm in October 2011.

Last night, a delicious Moutard Brut Grande Cuvee, followed by a 2008 Clos Apalta (Casa Lapostolle)

The second one was a special birthday present that I opened last night. Delicious!

Please do report on how this Zin was. I have had many different wines from the RR Valley but a Zin is not one of them.

A tasting flight of Argentinian wines at Garufin in London. A Chento Malbec, Corte B Vistalba Malbec/Cab Sauv, a Zuccardi Malbec & a Humberto Canale Gran Reserva Cab Franc from Patagonia.

And a taster of a Salta Torrontes.

A few nights ago a bottle of Velenosi Ludi. Montepulciano, cabernet sauvignon, and merlot blend. Fantastic, but the bottle weighs a ton!
