Some California Pinot Grigio followed by some Malbec at AT&T Park, followed by some Dashe Zin at home.

Tomorrow will be whatever the cellars at Alaska Airlines are serving in Row 2.

Enjoyed a bottle of ZD Cabernet Sauvignon last night. Could not resist...the restaurant we dined it was offering it at only $12 more than the price at the local wine retailer.

Goodness me! I'm not sure I've ever seen a list like that at dinner. How was work the following day? I'm not sure I could ever have left the table.

You made me cry after reading only half of that list.

If those were the ones wort mentioning, I guess i could have done fine with the "few others"

PS Thanks for arranging the wine-tasting at the recent Paris Do, although late arrival due to special circumstances. DS

Talisman Pinot Noir. Even better than I remember when we visited the tasting room earlier this year. Bonus: no corkage fee at Mrs. B's favorite SF restaurant. ^

On Thanksgiving day we opened a double magnum Hess 2005 Chardonnay. Back in the day Hess produced a drinkable low-cost product (is that an oxymoron?). Alas our tastes have migrated to higher end products like Cakebread, so we found it barely drinkable though college-age relatives seemed to enjoy it

There was some red plonk beeing thrown at me this afternoon, but I showed a very firm hand saying NOOO, blaiming a car I did not bring

Coming back to the real world, I'm enjoying a glass of Uruguayan Tannat from Bodega Garazon. Good value, very drinkable and more-ish.
