Flying today was 2 glasses of Taittinger Champagne before take-off, one after.

Two glasses of Poilly-Fumé 2012, Domaine Bouchié-Chateiller, Loire Valley and also two glasses of Chateaux Lamothe-Cissac 2010, Haut-Médoc.

The apple/raspberry filo pastry went well with a glass of 1999 Warres Colheita Tawny Port.

Did someone say flying is dull?

Here's what we drank at WineDo 7 in NYC on Sunday. A partial list is in the first post. In post 243, there's a link to the complete list. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/commu...14-nyc-13.html

Hopefully you'll consider joining us next June.

As if the aforementioned WineDo list wasn't extravagant enough, I'm opening the following on Sunday (my 40th). Now I'm going to hear from WineDo attendees about holding out on them.

2007-2009 Kosta Browne Pinot Noir (both RR and Sonoma)
2009 and 2010 Martinelli Lolita Ranch Pinot Noir
2009 Bachelder Chardonnay

And that's just the start.

Sounds like a great event. If someone sponsors one in London in the future I'll be there.

Tonight is an Aergerter Mersault (white), to start anyway.
