Lol
so you don’t get the chicken feet at dim sum places?
what about the pig trotters at Babbo?

i just learned of horse sashimi yesterday! I’ve not had horse but I know that people like it.

i’m not ready to cook tongue but I’ll get deli tongue for a sandwich.

seriously, you live in 2020 and you’re not into head??

Lengua is delicious, perhaps one of my favorite taco fillings. Just like a tender, flavorful roast beef.

While I'd readily tuck into a horse steak, I'll pass on eating Mr. Ed raw. Hay no!

I've seen head cheese at the deli and based on visuals alone, I'll pass. Too many pieces parts.

I can't get my head around tahini, aubergine or pita for breakfast, let alone all of them at once. I'll stick with the toast and marmalade!

I like it too, but my wife refuses to try it which is fine since I'm likely never going to make it at home. I don't like the way it looks whole and uncooked.
If a place is known for it, I'll order this type of taco. Best I've had was in San Antonio, don't remember the name of the restaurant. Otherwise, I'll usually head toward steak, pork, or seafood in my tacos.

Why I like Balut, I don't know, but it is something I look for when I visit my son in the Philippines.

I don't mind balut, but I think it needs a beer or two beforehand for courage!

Different folks different strokes ... albeit vegan, the eggplant tahini dip was exquisite with sauteed shallots, garlic, yellow bell peppers in olive oil until soft. Roasted eggplant puree was added in for further cooking and finished off with tahini and lemon juice addition after removed from heat.

During my travels, I have eaten culturally different cuisines (where I mostly skip Western breakfast) but most were good - from Sashimi and Bento box to soups containing fish sauce (Nuoc Mam or Pla ra)! :)

lol Im talking cow and goat head. Although do we have cannibals here in ft??

oh and fish head! Esp the cheeks. When I was a teenager, I met many who were weirded out about fish cheeks. As an adult, I assume that other adults like fish head and fish neck (“collar”) :-)

I love fish collars. At La Sardine, in Chicago, they had a happy hour special on these one night about a year ago. We considered but decided against it. Then we saw it come out for the two women sitting next to us at the bar, and were immediately disappointed we hadn't ordered it!

But I would not assume all adults like it. If you gave them a bite blindfolded they would love it, but the name or look throws some people off.

The first time I had it I did have some Tanduay Rum in me (I don't drink alcohol that much), and it was done on a dare from my nephew who is actually older than me. I haven't tried to look for it locally, as in the Philippines, the eggs are from my aforementioned nephew's farm so I know where it is coming from and how it's handled for food safety reasons.

I just ate almost an entire pound of carrots. I cut them into matchsticks and roasted them until they were crunchy on the edges, then sprinkled with fresh thyme and Maldon salt.

Now there is something I find disgusting. Fish fat. And to make it worse, it's normally served for breakfast (in the Philippines at least). Lengua and cabeza, no problem any time. :)
