Tainan noodles in very basic chicken thigh soup with boiled chicken thigh, cabbage, carrot, and celery. It’s super hot outside so I didn’t want to grill or sauté anything. Boiled was best.

Fixed myself a nice little table for high tea time at home ... no need for executive benefits! ;)

I think the reason many parents subject their kids to eating the meal that the rest of the family eats is to introduce the kid to a variety of foods but also to instill good nutritional habits. Given to their own devices many kids would exist on pizza, hot dogs and hamburgers instead of making good choices.
My parents love to tell a story of how when I was probably 4 or 5, we went to a folk festival. They had tons of different ethnic foods from various countries and every time they asked me what I wanted, I said I wanted a hot dog. |

I don't think it's safe to hold a banquet in your home these days. ;)
This morning for breakfast, cream & eggs custard with dry fruits & walnuts! https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...ff196f35_c.jpg |

OMG, please tell me there is a "Traeger for Dummies" thread somewhere on FT. I've not done well. And when I turn it on, with the sound of the whooshing, in my mind, I see the PG&E meter wildly spinning even though I read somewhere it only costs cents to run it.

All I can say, is I wish I would have bought it years sooner. Absolute best $325 I've ever spent on a cooking appliance. (Traeger Jr.) If I only used it for pork ribs a few times a year it would be worth it, but I use it 2-4 times a month year round. I wont do ribs, pulled pork, tri-tip, or salmon any other way. Also pastrami, smoked turkey, and brisket though I haven't perfected the brisket yet. ...it's almost foolproof.

Fresh raspberry and mini chocolate chip pancakes. I feel (and look) like a swallowed a basketball.
